Project Description: The application involves a three-lot subdivision of 76.7± acres and the after-the- fact approval of a mobile home park consisting of eight mobile homes and the after-the- fact approval of a multi-family dwelling consisting of six two-bedroom apartments. Lot 1 will be 1.65± acres in size and will contain the mobile home park. Lot 2 will be 8.2± acres in size and will contain the multi-family dwelling. Lot 3 will be 66.85± acres in size which includes 3.2± acres of land underwater. Lot 3 contains a pre-1973, 74-site campground known as Twin Pond Campground. The campground consists of an office, bathrooms, laundry room, out buildings and swimming pool. No further expansion of the campground is being proposed.

Project Description:The construction of a hunting and fishing cabin on a preexisting lot of record within a designated recreational river area and within a state highway critical environmental area. Agency Permit 97-170 previously authorized the proposed hunting and fishing cabin, but the project was not undertaken within the required time frames; thus, the prior permit has expired and a new permit is needed.

Project Description: The applicants seek approval for a three-lot subdivision involving wetlands. The project site is a 3.78± acre parcel containing 1250 linear feet of shoreline on Lake George. The proposed subdivision will create a 1.05± acre parcel containing 104± linear feet of shoreline, a 1.25± acre parcel containing 575± linear feet of shoreline, and a 1.47± acre parcel containing 570± linear feet of shoreline. A new single family dwelling is proposed on each lot, with on-site water supply and wastewater treatment systems on two of the lots. The proposed dwelling on the third lot will not be constructed until municipal sewer is installed along Tiroga Point Road, and will utilize on-site water supply and municipal sewer. One dock is proposed for access to Lake George on each of the lots.

The proposed metal prefab structure will be earthtone in color and will be set back approximately 150 feet from New York State Route 30 and located behind and connected to an existing building on the property. A portion of the existing building will be removed, but approximately 1,500 square feet of the existing building will remain and continue to be used for boat storage and minor repairs, resulting in a total of approximately.


Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft Supplemental EIS And Public Hearing

Warren County - The Town of Queensbury Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Great Escape Hotel - Indoor Water Park. A public hearing on the Draft Supplemental EIS will be held on March 2, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Queensbury Town Center, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY. Written comments on the Draft Supplemental EIS will be accepted until March 12, 2004. The action involves a proposed expansion of facilities at the Great Escape/Premier Parks facility located on US Route 9 in the Town of Queensbury, NY. The project is located on Route 9 immediately south of Exit 20 on Interstate 87-and west of Route 9 and East of I-87.
