Project Description: The applicants seek approval for a three-lot subdivision involving wetlands. The project site is a 3.78± acre parcel containing 1250 linear feet of shoreline on Lake George. The proposed subdivision will create a 1.05± acre parcel containing 104± linear feet of shoreline, a 1.25± acre parcel containing 575± linear feet of shoreline, and a 1.47± acre parcel containing 570± linear feet of shoreline. A new single family dwelling is proposed on each lot, with on-site water supply and wastewater treatment systems on two of the lots. The proposed metal prefab structure will be earthtone in color and will be set back approximately 150 feet from New York State Route 30 and located behind and connected to an existing building on the property. A portion of the existing building will be removed, but approximately 1,500 square feet of the existing building will remain and continue to be used for boat storage and minor repairs, resulting in a total of approximately.
Warren County - The Town of Queensbury Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Great Escape Hotel - Indoor Water Park. A public hearing on the Draft Supplemental EIS will be held on March 2, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Queensbury Town Center, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY. Written comments on the Draft Supplemental EIS will be accepted until March 12, 2004. The action involves a proposed expansion of facilities at the Great Escape/Premier Parks facility located on US Route 9 in the Town of Queensbury, NY. The project is located on Route 9 immediately south of Exit 20 on Interstate 87-and west of Route 9 and East of I-87.
