ENB Region 1 Completed Applications 02/04/2004

Applicant proposes to subdivide an existing 27,000 sq. ft parcel into 4 lots with the construction of a single family dwelling on each lot.  Two lots are proposed to be 50' x 100' with the third at 55' x 100' and the fourth is proposed to be 115' x 100'.  A 25' x 50' dwelling is proposed for each lot with a pervious gravel driveway.  A variance is sought from Article 25 (Tidal Wetlands)  for three lots which exceed the 20% lot coverage requirement.  The applicant also proposes to reconstruct 100 feet of bulkhead in place with a new 15' return at the south end.  The property is located on Quebec Road, Island Park, Town of Hempstead.

The applicant proposes to install one 20" x 10" diameter public supply well with the capacity to pump 1300 gpm.  The well will be approximately 610 feet deep and will be part of the Moriches-Westhampton Low water supply system which serves the area south of Sunrise Highway extending from Mastic to East Quogue., The property is located at the Seatuck Avenue well field, Eastport, Town of Brookhaven.

The applicant proposes to maintenance dredge 5,000 cubic yards of silt from Willow Lake, a portion of which is within the adjacent area of state regulated freshwater wetland #C-1, in order to restore previous depths and flow. Disposal of dredge spoil shall be at an appropriate upland facility off-site. The project is located at 265 West Main Street (Route 25A) & Lakeside Drive, SCTM#800-73-4-1, Smithtown, Suffolk County.

The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling with an associated septic system.  The residence would be partially located within the adjacent area of the regulated freshwater wetland designated SJ-12.  Grading and clearing would be done 75 feet from the delineated freshwater wetland boundary and the closest approach of the house to that boundary would be 87 feet.  The septic system would be located landward of the house entirely outside the adjacent area.
