Negative Declaration And Public Hearing

Wyoming County - The Town of Pike, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Recodification of the Zoning Law, Comprehensive Plan and Official Zoning Map of the Town of Pike will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. A public hearing will be held on February 9, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at the Town of Pike, Town Hall, 60 Main Street, Pike, NY. The action involves the recodification of the original zoning ordinance which was adopted in 1965 with reasonable consideration given to the character of the Town and its peculiar suitability for particular uses and with a view to conserving property values and natural resources and encouraging the most appropriate use of land throughout the Town. Also to preserve the agricultural base and rural character of the Town.

Wyoming County - The Village of Gainesville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Recodification of the Zoning Law, Comprehensive Plan and Official Zoning Map of the Village Of Gainesville will not have an adverse environmental impact. A public hearing will be held on February 9, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Gainsville Fire Hall, East Street, Gainesville, NY. The action involves the recodification of the original zoning ordinance which was adopted in 1964 to provide for orderly growth and development. Reasonable consideration was given to, among other things, the character of each district and its peculiar suitability for particular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most appropriate use of land.

Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Colden, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Creation of Town of Colden Water District Number 1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approximately 33,000 linear feet of 8-inch and 10-inch watermain in order to provide a public potable water supply to approximately 199 parcels in the Town.
