Description of the Action: Adoption of a conceptual plan to maintain an integrated snowmobile trail system on public and private land in the Adirondack Park that will provide snowmobilers with an experience that is consistent with Article XIV, Section 1 of the New York State Constitution while also striving to enhance the economic vitality of the Park’s citizens by providing trail linkages between local communities within the Park.

Jefferson County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Town of Rutland, as lead agency has determined that Water District # 1, DWSRF # 15941 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves construction of approx. 62,800 LF of 6", 8", and 10" water main, approx. 45,900 LF of services laterals, and a booster pump station. The new water system will serve approx. 566 Equivalent Dwelling Units (EDU's). The project is located in the Town of Rutland, Water District #1 which includes the Hamlet of Felts Mills, portions of NYS Routes 3 & 971V, Burnup Rd, Cemetery Rd, Lester Rd, School St, Perrigo Rd, Rex Dr, and Taylor Park.

Oneida County - The Town of New Hartford, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New Water Distribution System will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a water project along Higby Road, Tilden Ave., Mohawk Street, Sessions Road, Roberts Road, and Mallery Road. This project will provide water from the Upper Mohawk Valley Regional Water Board to approximately six hundred residents and businesses in the area. The Water Storage Tank will be constructed off Higby Road in the Town of Frankfort. The project is located in the Town of New Hardford.
