Besicorp-Empire Development Company, LLC - The Empire State Newsprint Project will consist of a recycled newsprint manufacturing plant (RNMP) and a nominal 505 MW combined cycle cogeneration plant.
All written comments about the Applicant's intended use of Emission Reduction Credits (ERCs) to offset potential emissions from the RNMP and cogeneration facility must be filed with the NYSDEC Office of Hearings and Mediation Services. A supplemental pre-adjudicatory Issues Conference will be held on February 25, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. In the event no petitions for party status are filed, the issues conference may be canceled.
Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers - The Applicant, Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers New York District (the Applicant), proposes the construction of navigation channel improvements to the New York and New Jersey Harbor. a NYSDEC Administrative Law Judge ("ALJ") will conduct two legislative hearings. Both hearings will be on February 12, 2004, the first being from 3 PM to 5 PM. In addition to or in lieu of providing oral comments at the legislative hearing, all interested persons may submit written comments at the hearing or mail them so that they are postmarked no later than 20 February 2004.
