Project Location: Chenango Reforestation Area #20, Stands A-7, 8, 10 and 15 on the west side of Ridge Road in the Town of Otselic
Project Description: The action involves a herbicide application to reduce ferns and undesirable low valued trees species (striped maple and beech) to allow the natural regeneration of desired species such as sugar maple, black cherry, white ash and red maple. The action is to take place on 44 acres, presently occupied by stands of sugar maple, black cherry and red maple.
Oswego County - The Town of Volney, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Volney Airport Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves installation of approximately 58,000 linear feet of water main, an above ground storage tank and a pump station in the Volney Airport Water District. The project location is NYS Route 3, County Route 6, Flood Drive, Gillespie Road, Florida, Michigan, Vermont, Maine and Maryland Avenues, County Route 176, Collisimo Drive, Airport Drive, Howard Road, and Silk Road
