Monroe County - The Town of Chili Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chili Meadows (741 Paul Road) re-zoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves re-zoning of 36.1 acres of land located at 741 Paul Road in the Town of Chili, from RB Restricted Business to PNOD Planned Neighborhood Overlay District, to permit the development of the parcel under the PNOD zoning. The subject parcel is identified as an area where the PNOD zoning designation is recommended in the “Implementation Measures” section of the Town of Chili Comprehensive Plan 2010 Update. The proposed zoning would allow flexible land use and design, and is intended to promote unified and orderly development of neighborhoods within the town and an orderly transition of land uses both internally and externally to the PNOD site, in this case between the commercial area to the west and the residential area to the east. Possible proposed uses for the parcel include multi-unit residential apartments and small-scale office and retail space. The project is located at 741 Paul Road in the Town of Chili, in Monroe County, on the south side of Paul Road and east of and adjacent to the Wegmans Chili-Paul Plaza.
