ENB Region 8 Completed Applications 12/24/2003

The NYSDEC has received an application from the Town of Livonia for the creation of Hemlock Water District #2 and to take for use therein a supply of water estimated to average 12,300 gallons per day from the City of Rochester's upland source.  This project involves the installation of approximately 6,200 linear feet of 8 inch water main and appurtenances to extend municipal water service along Federal Road and Cadyville Road to serve 41 parcels.  

The applicant proposes a 36 l.f. extension of a previously constructed retaining wall, construction of a +/- 41' x 36' addition to an existing single family dwelling and the placement of a 15' x 30' in-ground swimming pool at his property on Cranberry Pond.  The project site is 146 - 152 Cranberry Road.  The work will be wholly within the adjacent area of FWW GR-19, a Class 1 NYS regulated wetland.  The project plans have been reviewed and revised to minimize intrusion into Cranberry Pond, and to reduce impacts to the adjacent area.  The site is an established residential property.
