The applicant proposes to
reconstruct 96 feet of bulkhead in-place, 22 feet of bulkhead
within 18" of the existing bulkhead and construct 21 feet of new bulkhead to close off an
existing boat slip. Sixty cubic yards of fill will be placed within the boat slip, resulting in
the loss of approximately 400 square feet of tidal wetlands known as littoral zone
(SM/LZ). The applicant also proposes to install a 6 foot wide boardwalk. The project is
located at 130 Riviera Drive South, Massapequa, Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County,

to modify an existing State
Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit for the facility known as BAE
SYSTEMS Aerospace Inc., Advanced Systems , formerly known as Marconi Aerospace
Systems Inc. and Hazeltine Corp. (DEC No. 1472600091/00001). This modification
corrects the description of Outfalls 106 and 009/010 to add a total of 4000 GPD
blowdown from existing cooling towers #1 and #2, and 4000 GPD of blowdown from
newly installed cooling towers #3 and #4. Effluent monitoring requirements have been
added for both outfalls. The site is located at 1 Hazeltine Way, Greenlawn, Town of
Huntington.

Applicant proposes to mechanically
dredge the channel connecting Goldsmiths Pond with
Long Island Sound. The proposed dredge area will be approximately 950 feet long with
variable channel width ranging from 40 feet to 85 feet and depths ranging from -4 MLW
to -5 MLW. The resulting 21,000 cubic yards of sand will be placed on the beach east
(downdrift) of the channel in Peconic Dunes County Park. Also proposed is the
mechanical excavation of an approximately 680' x 125' area of beach just west of the
existing jetty to obtain approximately 15,000 cubic yards of sand for bypass placement on
the east side of the channel. The site is located at the north end of Mill Road in Peconic.
