Chenango County - The City Council, City of Norwich, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed City of Norwich Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the formal adoption of a comprehensive plan that outlines goals for economic development, housing, public safety, land use planning, historic preservation, historic and cultural attractions, infrastructure and recreational facilities and proposes a series of actions to address these goals. The project is located in the City of Norwich, New York.

Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Triangle, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law of the Town of Triangle entitled, "A Local Law of the Town of Triangle to Protect the Water Supply Sources for the Town Wells by Regulating Land Use and Activities in Specific Recharge Areas and Protection Zones Tributary to the Well Water Supply of the Water District(s) of the Town of Triangle" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. A public hearing will be held on February 5, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at the Triangle Town Hall, 2612 Liberty Street, Whitney Point, NY. Public comment period ends January 16, 2004. The project involves protection and maintainance of the quality of ground water in the protection zones tributary to well water supply of Water District No. 1 of the Town of Triangle in a manner reasonably expected to protect human health, the environment and ground water resources. The proposed local law contains certain definitions and certain prohibitions and requirements relating to certain activities, developments and depositions in certain areas; and it contains penalties for violation of the proposed local law.
