Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town Board of the Town of Greece, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Greece Retail Center will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves 4110 West Ridge, LLC (the “Project Sponsor”) proposing to rezone 21.6 acres of real property (the “Premises”) from R1-12 (Single-Family Residential) and BP2 (Professional Office) to BG (General Business) in order to develop a retail plaza (the “Proposal”). The Premises currently consists of a mixture of vacant land and single-family residences. As shown on a conceptual site development plan, the Proposal consists of two (2) one-story retail buildings (147,000 total square feet), with related paved parking, utilities, grading, landscaping/buffering, and other site modifications. The conceptual site development plan also shows room for future expansion of one of the proposed retail buildings (by 20,000 square feet) and for up to three additional freestanding commercial buildings of unknown size and nature. The Project Sponsor proposes access to the Premises via West Ridge Road (New York State Route 104), a five-lane highway. Existing land uses in the vicinity consist of a mixture of retail, office, single-family, multiple-family, and vacant land. The project is located in Monroe County, Town of Greece. Notice Of Acceptance Of Final EIS

Monroe County - The City of Rochester Director of Zoning, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Renovation and Additions to Sacred Heart Cathedral. The action involves the construction of a new approximately 4,000 s.f. office addition to the Rectory, a new approximately 5,000 s.f. Atrium (Narthex) addition connecting the rectory and the Cathedral, and a new 114 space parking lot. The proposal requires the demolition of the surrounding residential structures. The project is located at 296 Flower City Park in the City of Rochester and construction of a parking lot behind the Cathedral requiring the demolition of 260, 262/264 Flower City Park; 32 Primrose Street; 135, 129,123,117,113,109,105,97 Ridgeway Avenue.
