Crossroads Ventures, LLC has submitted applications for a proposed development to be known as "The Belleayre Resort at Catskill Park." The project includes a total of 400 hotel rooms, 351 additional hotel and housing units, a 21-lot single-family residential subdivision and two 18-hole golf courses. The project would be developed within 1,960 acres in the Catskill Mountains of Ulster and Delaware Counties, with a total of 573 acres disturbed and the remainder left undisturbed.
Legislative hearing sessions for the receipt of unsworn statements will be held on January 14, 2004 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, and then recommencing at 7:00pm. The second hearing will be held on January 15, 2004 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, and then recommencing at 7:00pm. Should inclement weather prevent either or both hearings from proceeding, the hearing will be held in a single session on January 20, 2004 at 7:00pm. A pre-adjudicatory hearing issues conference will be held on March 9, 2004 at 10:00am. Written comments must be received by February 24, 2004. All filings for party status must be received by 4:00pm on February 17, 2004.
