The applicant proposes to
excavate an approximately .6 acre dry detention basin located
adjacent to Tributary 7 of the Buffalo River at the northwest end of South Blossom Road
in the Town of Elma. Approximately 4500 cubic yards of soil will be excavated for the
basin, which is expected to alleviate problematic flooding in a residential neighborhood
along South Blossom Road.

Construction of a 130 foot
by 240 foot (31,200 square foot) addition to an existing 240
foot by 360 foot (86,400 square foot) building. The new building addition will be
constructed in a portion of the 100 foot wide adjacent area to the Maple Drive (LA-4)
Wetland. The LA-4 Wetland is a class II wetland. The existing 86,400 square foot
building is part of the Epic Sports Complex, a portion of which was constructed in the
adjacent area of the LA-4 Wetland and authorized by DEC Permit No. 9-1452-00163/00001. The Epic
Sports Complex is located at 2793 Wehrle Drive and serves an
estimated peak of 725 persons during the course of various athletic events at the facility.
