ENB Region 5 Completed Applications 12/10/2003

The applicant proposed to fill portions if a private path through regulated NYS DEC Freshwater Wetland R-12 (Class II) and its Adjacent Area to the Ballston Lake shoreline with a total of approximately 65 cubic yards of fill to create an 8' x 150'  walkway. The walkway will provide private lake access for the applicant's recreational use and with be surfaced with grass. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Sub-Office in Warrensburg.

The applicant proposes to place approximately 9000 square feet of fill in regulated NYS DEC Freshwater Wetland ME-13 (Class II) for the purpose of placing a single-family dwelling. The site is located on Ferry Lane, approximately 0.16 mi. east of its Hudson Avenue intersection. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Sub-Office in Warrensburg.

Proposed renovation and expansion of a public trail system on lands owned by the Town of Queensbury and Queensbury School District.  The project includes a 170 foot wood footbridge across  Freshwater Wetland GF-12 (class II) and Glen Lake Brook (class AA), three observation decks along the wetland, and 4200 feet of trail in the wetland adjacent area.  Work in the wetland and adjacent area involves 95 cubic yards of excavation and 62 yards of fill.  The six mile trail will be located to the north of the Queensbury Schools, Aviation Road.
