Suffolk County - A public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Southampton on December 9, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road, Southampton, NY to hear any and all persons either for or against "A Local Law extending Chapter 310 (Bridgehampton Hamlet Moratorium) of the Code of the Town of Southampton". This moratorium, like the previous one for this area, will affect certain properties that are zoned commercial, residential and industrial within the boundaries of the Hamlet of Bridgehampton situated in the Town of Southampton."
Nassau County - The Incorporated Village of Lake Success, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lake Success Golf Course Improvements Project, Application ID#1-2822-00825/00006 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves relocation/construction of golf cart paths, replacement of stormwater inlets, replacement of piping, replacement of outlets, and installation of plantings within the 100 foot adjacent area of NYSDEC Regulated Freshwater Wetland #SC-5 (Lake Success and Lake Surprise). These activities are proposed as part of a larger project at the golf course intended to improve stormwater drainage, including creation of detention basins and ponds, regrading activities and installation of stormwater piping. The project is located at the Lake Success Golf Course, 318 Lakeville Road, Village of Lake Success, Great Neck, Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County.

Nassau County - The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Old Westbury, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Korean Joong Bu Presbyterian Church of New York. The action involves application for a special use permit to construct and operate a place of worship, including a church building, an addition to the existing dwelling, recreational fields, parking areas, driveways, a walking path, outdoor tiered seating and walls, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a playground and spray area to be located on a 10.93 acre parcel that is identified as Section 19, Block E, Lots 3, 215, 437 and 438 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map in the Village of Old Westbury.

Nassau County - The Planning Board of the Inc. Village of Muttontown , as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed application of Kirby Hill Associates, LLC, project number P-173. The Applicant, Kirby Hill Associates, LLC, as owners of a 148.48 acre parcel of land designated as Section 15, Block A, Lots 10A & 10E on the Land and Tax Map of Nassau County in the Village's E-3 (3 acre) and A-3 (1/2 Acre) Zoning Districts seek preliminary approval to subdivide the property into 80 lots as shown on the plat entitled "Preliminary Subdivision Map for Hamlet Estates at Kirby Hill…, prepared by Cameron Engineering & Associates, LLP, dated July 2003 (the "Action")". The project is located on the northerly side of N.Y.S. Route 25 and the eastern side of Kirby Lane, Town of Oyster Bay, Village of Muttontown.
