ENB Region 1 Completed Applications 11/26/2003

The applicant proposes to dredge a 12' x 20' area approximately 20' seaward of an existing bulkhead.  A four pile boatlift is proposed to be installed in the area to be dredged. A 4' x 41' pier is proposed to be constructed, and 35 linear feet of existing bulkhead is proposed to be removed and replaced in-place.  The proposed project is located on the Great South Bay at 3404 Hewlett Avenue in Merrick in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County, NCTM# 63-322-35.

The applicant proposes placement of fill and regrading activities, relocation/construction of golf cart paths, replacement of stormwater inlets, replacement of piping, replacement of outlets and installation of plantings within the 100 foot adjacent area of NYSDEC Regulated Freshwater Wetland #SC-5 (Lake Success and Lake Suprise).  These activities are proposed as part of a larger project at the golf course intended to improve stormwater drainage, including creation of detention basins and ponds, regrading activities and installation of stormwater piping.  The project is located at the Lake Success Golf Course, 318 Lakeville Road, Village of Lake Success, Great Neck, Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County.  

The applicant proposes to subdivide 12.18 acres of land into five residential lots, construct a cul-de-sac extension and a 10,893 square foot park extending from the proposed cul-de-sac to a 16.5 acre parcel to the northwest under contract for inclusion in the Town of Southampton's Open Space Program. The project is located at Laila Court, SCTM#900-367-1-2, Remsenburg, Southampton Town, Suffolk County, Seatuck Cove.

The applicant proposes to subdivide a 8.05 acre parcel into two developable lots.  Lot one is 2.0 acres and Lot two is 6.05 acres.  Lots one and two are on Long Island Sound, which is considered NYSDEC regulated tidal wetlands.  The project is located at:  17235 Soundview Avenue, Southold, Town of Southold, Suffolk County.  SCTM#1000-50-2-15.
