Project Title: Town of Benson

Project Description: Town of Benson proposes to construct a 5,120 square foot highway garage. One principal building right is being transferred to the Town parcel from adjacent lands owned by Dowdy, Hollis & Ball. The project site is located on the west side of Washburn Road. There are wetlands on the property located along the south property line that are associated with the North Branch of West Canada Creek, a permanent, non-navigable stream in this location. No wetlands or stream impacts are anticipated. The building will be 80 by 64. A 10 x 14 structure located west of the garage will be utilized for storage of road salt. A conventional absorption trench on-site wastewater treatment system will serve the bathroom in the garage. There will be no floor drains in the bays of the garage.


Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The Planning Board of Saratoga Springs, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Oak Ridge Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a subdivision of approximately 134 acres into a total of 48 lots (43 buildable lots, 3 dedicated open space parcels and 2 lots of remaining land for possible future development). The project is a clustered subdivision. The project is located at 29 Dyer Switch Road, Saratoga Springs, NY.

Saratoga County - The Saratoga Springs City Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendments to the Saratoga Hospital Medical/Professional Planned Unit Development will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition and rezoning of 3.2 acres of adjacent parcels to the PUD classification. The amendments allow for four additions to the main hospital building as follows:

Radiation Therapy Center with 9,000 square feet of building coverage
Patient Care Addition with five above ground levels and 30,000 square feet of building coverage
3,500 square feet of cafeteria expansion, and
5,000 square feet to be uitilized for central plant infrastructure upgrades.

The project includes obtaining North Van Rensselaer Street from the City. The applicant will be realigning the new entrance to the Hospital campus with Van Renssleaer Street. On the easterly portion of the amended Hospital Campus, the applicant will be granting easements and making improvements in order to widen Corey Lane and Medical Arts Lane. The site is located at 211 Church Street, Saratoga Springs, NY.
