The City of New York, acting
through the NYC Department of Transportation, seeks to
encourage ferry service along the eastern shoreline of Manhattan by:
Includes the installation of a floating barge (2,000 sq. ft.) and steel float (1,750 sq. ft.) to serve as a docking facility for front- and side-loading passenger ferries. Both barges will be secured by spud piles and connected to the shore by adjustable gangways. Marine construction will be conducted in two phases to accommodate the building's exterior facade renovations.
Includes the installation of a moored floating barge (3,500 sq. ft.) at the bulkhead to serve as a docking facility for front- and side-loading passenger ferries. The floating barge will be connected to the shore by an adjustable gangway.
