The applicant proposes to
construct a driveway across State-designated Freshwater
Wetland MB-29 (Class II) for a single family residence to be located outside the regulated
area. The site is located on the east side of Station Road, approximately 1.8 miles south
of the intersection with NYS Route 207. The 12-foot wide drive would result in the
filling of about 0.48 acres of the wetland. To mitigate wetland loss, 1.02 acres of new
wetlands will be created on the site.

The applicant proposes to
construct a portion of a detached garage and expand an existing
residence and driveway within the regulated 100-foot adjacent area of State-designated
Freshwater Wetland TH-14 (Class II). The project site is located on the west side of the
Mahwah River at the end of an unnamed access drive that intersects US Rte. 202 about
0.27 mile southwest of the US Rte. 202/NYS Rte. 306 intersection. The proposed
construction will result in the permanent conversion of about 3,000 square feet of the
wetland adjacent area to impervious surfaces. In addition, a small shed built partially in
the wetland will be removed.
