Taylor
Tree, Inc., has applied for a modification of its existing Part 360 Solid Waste
Management Facility permit to increase its allowable tonnage of Construction &
Demolition (C&D) Debris from the current maximum of 60,000 tons per year (TPY) and
an average of 209 Tons Per Day (TPD), to the new maximum of 89,400 TPY and new
average of 311 TPD. This would be a 49% increase in tonnage.
The
Taylor Recycling Facility would continue to receive and process C&D Debris to
remove recyclable materials and to reuse the remaining material for such things as
alternate daily cover at landfills. The processing of C&D would continue to take place
completely inside their existing 35,000 square foot building located at 172 Neeleytown
Road, in the Town of Montgomery, Orange County, NY.

dredge approximately 4000 cubic yards of sediment from an
existing one-half acre pond, Class B(t), tributary to Lemons Brook in order to deepen and
expand the pond. Dredge spoils will be disposed of on upland areas and the embankments
of the pond on the applicant's property. The project is located on the north side of West
Shore Road, 1000 feet east of Happy Road in the Town of Bethel, Sullivan County.
