The proposed work includes installation of new fender piles around Queens Piers 19 and 20 and adjacent to Bronx Piers 46 through 57. The total water column displacement for the new fender piles is 174.4 cubic yards. To prevent erosion, 4,300 cubic yards of stone will be used for scour backfill around Queens Pier 20 and Bronx Piers 42, 47, 49, 52, 55 and 56.
