ENB Region 1 Completed Applications 10/15/2003

The applicant proposes to construct one additional 20" x 10" diameter, 730 ' deep permanent production well (no. 4)  for the Port Jefferson Farmingville High water supply system.  The proposed  well will be rated at 1,300 gpm.  The proposed well site is the SCWA's North Country Road well field, the s/s of North Country Road, 380' w/o Sunwood Drive, in the locality of Miller Place, Town of Brookhaven,  Suffolk County.

Applicant proposes to construct a sanitary sewage collection system including installation of a sewage pump station, valve pit, forcemain and gravity sewers and manholes.  The project will require dewatering in excess of 1 million gallons per day and is located in the adjacent area of fresh water wetland BW-1.  The project is located on Wyandanch avenue 350 north of Governor Ave, West Babylon.

The applicant proposes to construct within 18" of the existing bulkhead 197 linear feet of bulkhead; remove and replace in the same location approximately 606 linear feet of bulkhead, three jetties, a 6 ft. x 60 ft. dock with a 6' x 48' "L" section, a 10 ft. x 50 ft. deck, and two pilings; repair the existing concrete seawall by patching cracks where needed;  and dredge the entrance to the creek to 6 ft. below mean low water.  Resultant 924 cubic yards of dredged material will be used as beach nourishment and 326 cubic yards will be used as backfill.  The property is located at 62, 370, and 400 South Ferry Road, North Haven, Town of Southampton, County of Suffolk on Shelter Island Sound.
