The Town of Bath has submitted
an application to create Water District #6 and to take for
use therein a supply of water estimated to average 142,000 gallons per day from the
Village of Bath wells. Of the total water taken for this district, 40,900 gallons per day is
new water usage and 101,100 gallons per day is existing water usage including a Village
of Bath Permissive Service Area for the Bath School Bus Garage. The Department has
made a tentative decision to issue this permit and is seeking comments on the proposed
water district prior to making a final decision on permit issuance.

The applicant proposes to
install a single galvanized steel corrugated metal multi-plate
pipe arch on concrete footers on the West branch of Wolcott Creek in Freshwater
Wetland NW-8. The new culvert will replace a deteriorated concrete box culvert on West
Port Bay Road. The project will include approximately 40 cubic yards of fill on the
highway embankment slope around the ends of the pipe. In
addition, there will be
approximately 130 cubic yards of excavation for stream bed widening for better
alignment.

Water Authority's Brockport Lake Ontario source. The project includes the installation
of 20,600 Linear Feet of 8-inch water main and appurtenances to serve 90 existing
