The applicant proposes to
upgrade an existing driveway that crosses 50 linear feet of
Freshwater Wetland # N-11 (class II). Also, a second proposed driveway is to replace an
existing drive that crosses 150 feet of wetland (the new driveway will reduce the wetland
crossing to 35 linear feet). Proposed fill in the wetland and adjacent area is 77 and 366
cubic yards respectively. The purpose is to access a proposed home site (and a possible
second home site) on an upland area. The project is located on the east side of Herold
Drive, north of Grooms Road, Town of Clifton Park.

area within an approved 57 acre Life Of Mine (LOM), for the purpose of extracting unconsolidated
gravel and sand. Additionally, the applicant has proposed to mine the existing and proposed
affected area to a final floor elevation of ranging from 210-240 feet mean sea level. The project
site is located within two contiguous land parcels totaling 84 acres owned by the applicant. The
mine site is located on the west side of Button Road, 0.3 miles south of its junction with Lower
Newtown Road, Town of Halfmoon, Saratoga County. Application materials are available for
public review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Sub-Office.

intersection. The proposed operation will consist of a 5-phased removal and processing,
