Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town Board of Henrietta, as lead agency, has determined that the development of eighteen multi-family buildings consisting of seventy rental units, a three story independent living facility and a three story assisted living facility will not have a significant environmental impact. The project is located west of East River Road on Fairwood Drive in West Henrietta, NY.

Wayne County - The Board of Supervisors of Wayne County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sodus Point Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves demolishing the existing marine patrol station and bathhouse at Sodus Point Park; design and construct a combined new bathhouse and marine patrol station; relocate Wickham Boulevard beach to the site presently occupied by the marine patrol station; construct a swim platform; design and install 850 linear feet of revetment along Wickham Boulevard; and construct a greenway path connecting the park with the Sodus Point central business district. The project is located at the eastern most end of Wickham Boulevard, in the Village of Sodus Point.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft Generic EIS And Public Hearing

Monore County - The Town Board of the Town of Parma, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Fairfield Place Planned Residential Development. A public hearing will be held on September 16, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Parma Town Hall, 1300 Hilton-Parma Road, Hilton, NY. Comments on the DGEIS will be accepted up to 10 days following the close of the public hearing. The project involves rezoning of the subject property from rural Residential (RR) to Medium Denisty (MD) with Townhouses. The proposal consists of a rezoning of 140 acres of property located on the west side of Manitou Road, just north of Ridge Road West. The site is bordered by the Town of Greece to the east. The concept plan presented by the applicant antitipates the construction of approximately 600 residential units in a mixed use setting. The mix consists of apartment buildings, single adult units, condominiums of various styles and single family homes. The applicant will extend saniary sewer service in order to service the proposed development. The project is located on the west side of Manitou Road, just north of Ridge Road West and bordered by the Town of Greece to the East.
