The Applicant proposes to modify a portion of the 100-foot adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland OL-47 (Class II) in order to construct a single family residence. Activities proposed within the adjacent area include excavation and fill of approximately 800 cubic yards of material for the septic system, construction of portions of the home and unpaved driveway, and grading. There is no disturbance proposed within Freshwater Wetland OL-47. The total area of disturbance to the adjacent area is 0.05-acre. The project is located on the west side of Craescot Road, approximately 1000 feet north of Long Pond Road (County Route 32) in the Town of Carmel, Putnam County.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency:

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
