Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct a bikeway approximately 6700' long x 6' wide of paved shoulder along the existing main park roadway.  A portion of the bikeway will be located in the buffer area of regulated freshwater wetland TP-5, a 91 acre Class III shrub swamp.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
SEQR Lead Agency:
NYS Office of Parks Recreation & Historic Preservation
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
Coastal Management:
This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to mine 4.92 acres of sandstone from a 19.62 acre mine site on a 147 acre parcel owned by the applicant, 5.5 miles south of the Village of Hammond.  It is further located on the west side of NYS Route 37, 1.5 miles north of the Jefferson/St. Lawrence Co. line.  The sandstone will be mechanically mined for use as stone veneer facing and for ornamental landscape applications.

Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.
