The Department has made
a tentative determination to issue a permit for a State Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES) permit under Article 17 of the
Environmental Conservation law for the Slovak Country Club. This existing facility has
1 outfall with a total sanitary waste discharge flow of 13,500 gallons per day (gpd) of
treated sanitary wastewater to an unnamed tributary flowing to Sandburg Creek, a Class
B(ts) stream, from the applicant's facility located one mile east of County Route 55 at
Park Hill Road. This tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under
this statute is considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on
information available to the Department at this time. As a tentative determination, the
Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final
decision on permit issuance. As such, this tentative determination does not signify
department approval for or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for
the overall proposed project. A draft permit indicating the Department's proposed
effluent limitations and monitoring requirements has been prepared and is available for
review.

The Department has made
a tentative determination to approve a State Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit for the discharge of up to 4,000 gallons
per day of treated sanitary wastewater into an unnamed tributary of Spring Brook [Water
Index No. D-10-27-16, Class B(t)] related to the construction of a proposed family arcade
and bowling center. The facility will be constructed on a 3.83 acre parcel locate on the
east side of County Route 175, approximately 1.6 miles south of the Village of Liberty.
This
tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statute is
considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information
available to the Department at this time. As a tentative determination, the Department
seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on
permit issuance. As such, this tentative determination does not signify department
approval for or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall
proposed project. A draft SPDES permit indicating DEC proposed standards for the
quality of the wastewater effluent to be discharged and monitoring compliance
requirements has been prepared and is available for review.

from and existing boat basin located at the northern end of Milton Harbor. An area
approximately 180 feet by 140 feet will be dredged to a depth of 6 feet below mean low
water using a barge-mounted crane with a clamshell bucket. All dredged material would
be disposed of at the Western Long Island Sound Disposal Area.
