Applicant proposes to construct
a single family residence on a 4.42 acre lot located at 5
Sniffen Road. The property contains approximately 3.6 acres of State regulated wetland
K-23 (Class III). Development of this lot will require construction of a subsurface
sanitary septic system within the 100 foot wetland adjacent area. To provide increased
water quality protection to the wetland, the applicant proposes to install an aerobic
wastewater treatment unit (Norweco Singular Bio-Kinetic Wastewater Treatment System)
for sanitary waste treatment prior to discharge to a 1000 gallon septic tank with outflow
to the subsurface leach field. Following site grading and completion of the septic system,
a natural meadow planting restoration adjacent to the wetland will be implemented to
provide an upland buffer.
