Warren County - The Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Open Space Vision Plan and Map will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Open Space Vision for the Town of Queensbury that includes an open space vision action plan builds upon the history of the existing planning and zoning basis to protect open space resources and implement land protection strategies-balanced with allowing economic growth with the Town of Queensbury. The vision action plan recommends increased partnership and collaboration in protection Queensbury's open space resources. The open space vision helps to mitigate against the potential adverse impacts of development, while providing continued opportunity for focused growth. The adoption of the vision does not commit the Town to act, but rather it sets a strategy for advancing open space conservation. Each project that may advance to implementation will be evaluated on its respective environmental, social, and economic merits. The project is located townwide.
