Brooklyn County - The New York City Planning Commission, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Bridge Plaza Zoning Map Amendment. The action proposes an amendment to the zoning map to change an eight-block area of Bridge Plaza, in Brooklyn Community District 2, from M1-1 to C6-2, C4-3 and R6B. As a result of the proposed action, it is anticipated that approximately 295 dwelling units could be developed on about 21 projected and potential development sites within the rezoning area over a ten-year period. The project is is bounded by the Nassau Street Prince Street, Tillary Street and Jay Street at the foot of the Manhattan Bridge, in the northern part of Community District 2, Brooklyn.
