The applicant proposes a
1.2 acre expansion of a 35.5 acre permitted limestone quarry for
the purpose of relocating truck scales to improve mine operation efficiency. The
permitted quarry is part of a 78.6 acre life of mine site on a 160.7 acre parcel owned by
the applicant. The site is approximately 1500' west of NYS Route 12 on the north side of
Whittacker Road, approximately one mile east of the hamlet of Martinsburg.
