Negative Declaration

Putnam County - The Town Board of Patterson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law #4 entitled Subdivision of Lands, Additional Requirements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves Adoption of Local Law #4 entitled Subdivision of Lands, Additional Requirements. The project is located in the Town of Patterson.

Putnam County - The Town Board of Patterson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law #3 entitled Zoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law #3 which would amend Patterson's Zoning Code, Chapter 154. Changes to the Zoning Code include reducing the intensity of development, additional protection of streams and wetlands, changes to district boundaries and allowable uses therein and providing a right-to-farm provision. The proposed changes implement recommendations made in the Comprehensive Plan adopted in 2000. The project is located in the Town of Patterson.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Westchester County - The Planning Board of New Rochelle, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Iona College East Campus Development Plan. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on July 29, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at 90 Beaufort Pl., New Rochelle, NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accpeted until August 8, 2003. The action involves the proposed construction of a new 2 story student union of 40,750 sq. ft., an expansion of the Mulcahey Campus Center with a 2 story new athletic center of 44,154 sq. ft., construction of a 2 story, 15,000 sq ft addition to Ryan Library, and a 116 space parking lot off Beechmont Drive, including the demolition of several existing wood frame structures. The project is located at 715 North Avenue, Tax Map Section 3 Block 1005, Lot 1 and 23 and 45 Beechmont Ave., Tax Map Section Blocks 1015, Lots 2 and 20 in the City of New Rochelle.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final EIS

Rockland County - The Village Board of the Village of Haverstraw, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Haverstraw Downtown Waterfront Redevelopment Project. The action involves approval of a proposed public/private redevelopment initiative consisting of several components comprised of: 1) the adoption of amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map of the Village of Haverstraw to create a new Section 245-21.1 of the Zoning Ordinance entitled "WPD Waterfront Planned Development District" (WPD District) and to re-zone certain of the properties identified below to WPD District; 2) the adoption of the proposed "Village of Haverstraw Waterfront Urban Renewal Plan" which affects the property identified below; 3) the public purpose for the potential condemnation under the Eminent Domain Procedure Law of certain of the properties identified below; 4) the adoption of the proposed "Village of Haverstraw Local Waterfront Revitalization Program" (LWRP) which affects all property located in the Village of Haverstraw which has been designated by New York State as Coastal Area; and 5) the adoption of the proposed "Village of Haverstraw Waterfront Consistency Review Law" to implement the LWRP and which affects all property located in the Village of Haverstraw designated by New York State as Coastal Area.
