Applicant proposes to modify and expand an existing gas station facility.  The existing pump islands and fuel tanks will removed and replaced in same location and  concrete pads are proposed for the area of the fuel tanks. The parking area will be expanded incorporating 9 additional parking spaces and a air and vacuum station.  A fence will be installed between proposed/existing structures and the line of silt screen and limit of clearing. The project is located in the adjacent area of a regulated fresh water wetland HV-1 at 724 Greenvale/Glen Cove Road

Old Brookville, NY, Town of Oyster Bay

The applicant proposes to construct a 10" x 128' deep irrigation well.  The well's maximum capacity is proposed to be 750 gallons per minute.  The well is located north of the applicant's Memorial Park and northeast of the intersection of Canal and Mount Sinai Coram Road in the locality of Mt. Sinai, Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County  

The applicant proposes an existing discharge of 18,000 gallons per day of laundry wastewater to groundwater from an Aquarelle Generation II filtration water treatment system at the applicant’s facility located at 64 Broadway, Rocky Point, Brookhaven Town, Suffolk County.   The Department has made a tentative determination to issue a permit for a State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit under Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law.  This tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statute is considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information available to the Department at this time.  As a tentative determination, the Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance.  As such, this tentative determination does not signify department approval for, or endorsement of, the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall proposed project.

Refer to this application by application number listed above and SPDES number,  NY 0266825.  The proposed discharge is located within an area designated as a sole source aquifer.  The following water purveyor has been identified as having service areas located within a 3-mile radius of the applicant's facility: Suffolk County Water Authority.

The applicant proposes to clear vegetation and grade within 80 feet of regulated freshwater wetland # SA-1.  The proposed work is associated with the construction of a dwelling which is proposed beyond the limits of Article 24 (Freshwater Wetlands Act) jurisdiction.  The project is located at 76 Northwest Landing Road,  Town of East Hampton, Suffolk County, SCTM #0300-90-01-4.3.

The applicant proposes an existing discharge of 9,900 gallons per day of laundry wastewater to groundwater from a Power Scrub It-LRF-AC water filtration treatment system at the applicant's facility located at 497 Montauk Highway, Amagansett, East Hampton, Suffolk County.

The applicant proposes to dredge an 1140 square feet area at the entrance to the canal off Quantuck Bay to 3 feet below mean low water to allow for safe navigation.  Resultant 125 cubic yards of dredged material will be transported to an approved off-site disposal facility.  The property is located at122 Seafield Point, Westhampton Beach, Town of Southampton, County of Suffolk.

The applicant proposes to construct a dwelling, driveway and septic system on a property that contains portions of regulated freshwater wetland SH-10.   The dwelling is proposed within 39 feet of the freshwater wetlands, the septic system is proposed within 72 feet of the wetlands and thedriveway is proposed immediately adjacent to the wetlands.  The project is located at 48 White Oak Lane, Southampton, Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, SCTM #900-129-1-2.5.
