Project Description: The action involves implementation of a project identified in the Projected Use and Management Proposal, Facilities Development and/or Removal, of the Halcott Mountain Wild Forest Unit Management Plan (UMP). This UMP was adopted by the Department of Environmental Conservation in August 2001. A review of the Master Habitat Database reveals no critical habitats or archaeological resources that will be impacted by this project.
The project will establish a foot trail from the Route 42 parking lot approximately 2.1 miles long. A portion of its route will be on the old Pine Hill Road. Trail establishment will require side cutting of foliage along its entire length, two stream crossings, by either foot bridge or stepping stones, and will be made into a loop trail. Trail establishment will incorporate the use of Best Management Practices, as addressed in the UMP.
Greene County - The Village of Hunter, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Kaatskill Mountain Club condominiums will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves the construction of a hotel/condominium facility on 3.34 acres of land at Hunter Mountain Ski Resort in the Village of Hunter, Greene County, New York. The condominium building will contain 70 units. The project involves 3.34 acres of land at Hunter Mountain Ski Center and a small amount of land in the adjacent Town of Hunter where a storm drainage pond will be constructed.

Schoharie County - The Town Board of the Town of Richmondville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adult Use and Entertainment Establishments Moratorium will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves enacting a town wide moratorium on adult use and entertainment establishments until January 1, 2004 or until a local adult use law is enacted, whichever comes first. The project is located townwide.
