The property is located at 154 Bog Hollow Rd., approximately 3/4 mile east of the intersection with Benton Road. Approximately two cubic yards of material will be removed for footings, and  the area beneath the deck will be graded with 1-1/2 inch trap rock.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

Project Description:
The applicant has requested a permit modification for its existing 26 acre sand and gravel mining operation located on the west side of White School House Road, to authorize the removal of additional material as a result of a proposed change in the side slopes for final reclamation.  The currently approved reclamation plan authorized a gradual west, sloping final floor at a lowest elevation of 320 feet.  The proposed plan will create a uniform floor elevation at 310 feet with final slopes no steeper than one vertical on two horizontal, to create open grasslands at the completion of mining.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
