As a first phase of proposed redevelopment of Oak Beach Park in the Town of Babylon the following is proposed:  Demolish four buildings with the construction and demolition debris being removed and properly disposed of at an upland disposal site.  Place clean fill and grade.  Repair the existing bulkhead.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.
Coastal Management:
This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

The applicant proposes to construct one (1) new supply well approximately 700 feet deep, with a capacity of 1,380 gallons per minute.  The new well will provide additional capacity needed to reduce existing and proposed deficits in maximum day and fire flow demands.  The new well is located at Mount Misery Road and Hilltop Drive, Melville.
