Project Description: The action involves a major public utility consisting of 4,900 of a new sewer line and a pump station to serve 47 existing residences known as Baldwin Road Sewer District #8. The new district is part of an overall larger municipal sewer system with the wastewater treated at the existing municipal wastewater treatment plant. A combination of 8- inch diameter gravity sewer line and 1.5 inch to 2 inches diameter low pressure force main sewer line will be installed along the east side of Baldwin Road, a county road, along Steamboat Landing Road, a town road, and through four privately owned parcels of land with laterals to individual houses. Sewer line will include both open trench and directional boring installation.

Project Title: Town of Moriah Water Districts 1 and 2 water system improvements (i.e. water line replacements, new water tanks and new water treatment plant)

Project Description: The project involves upgrades to the Town of Moriah Water Supply, Treatment and Distribution System. The project includes a new water treatment plant, two new 650,000 gallon water tanks at the treatment plant site, a new 390,000 gallon water tank at the end of the Barton Hill Road and the replacement of about 22,000 feet of water distribution lines. The existing water intake lines to be replaced include the main water line between Bartlett Pond and the water treatment plant and the main water line running south from the treatment plant to a pump station on the east side of Plank Road across from Wall Street. Other water lines to be replaced are along Plank Road, Joyce Road, Wasson Street and Broad Street.

Negative Declaration

Warren County - The Town Board of the Town of Bolton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Town of Bolton Comprehensive Plan and Hamlet Strategic Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a plan which comprehensively addresses zoning, land use and economic development issues, parks and recreation, neighborhoods, the environment, and other related municipal issues. The project is townwide.

Conditioned Negative Declaration

Franklin County - The Village of Saranac Lake, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Dewey Mountain Village will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice. The action involves construction of a 39-lot residential subdivision with one single family dwelling per lot. The project is located in the Village of Saranac Lake, beginning at the intersection of Lake Street and Mulflur Road.
