Project Description: The action involves a subdivision of 61.6 acres of land in a Rural Use land use area into three residential lots which was previously undertaken. The southerly lot is 11.8 acres in size, contains wetlands and is vacant. The owners (Collett) propose construction of one single family dwelling on this lot. The center lot is 39.2 acres in size and is developed by a small camp that has no utilities or water supply. No new land use and development is proposed for this lot owned by D. Hance. The northerly lot (R. Hance) is a vacant 10.6 acre lot that is a portion of adjoining lands under the same ownership that are managed for agricultural uses. One single family dwelling is proposed for this lot. No wetlands will be involved or impacted by the proposed project.

Region 6 - The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 625005, known as the Payne Jones Site. This site is located in the Town of Lowville, in the County of Lewis and is located at East Road. The reason for deletion is:

Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Planning Board Village of Sackets Harbor, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed site plan approval of outdoor renovations will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves approval of site plans for and construction and operation of a new patio and awning and outdoor door and bar replacement. The project is located at 110 West Main Street, Sackets Harbor.
