The applicant proposes to construct a 140' long x 4' wide pile supported catwalk dock from the mainland through regulated freshwater wetland TP-12, a 19 acre Class II emergent cattail marsh to a small island from which a 48' long x 4' wide pipe supported catwalk dock would be constructed along a rocky point and to which a 40' long x 8' wide floating dock would be placed for a landing area for boats. The dock would serve several families, reduce traffic to a nearby existing dock in shallower water, and provide an extended boating season.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
SEQR Lead Agency:
NYS Department of Environmental Conservation
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.
Coastal Management:
This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
