ENB Region 5 Completed Applications 05/21/2003

The applicant proposes to install a submersible water ski slalom course in Canada Lake at a location southeast of Dolgeville Point. The course will be for private use and will be used approcimately 2 hours per day.

The applicant proposes to construct an access road across 190 linear feet of the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland # S-30 (class II), associated with development of the 82-lot Century Farms residential subdivision.  A walking trail is also proposed in the adjacent area.  Directional drilling will be used to install a water line under the wetland and a tributary of Kayaderosseras Creek.  The project is located on the north side of East High Street, near its intersection with East Line Road, Town of Malta.

Proposed Halfway Brook wetland restoration project at Hovey Pond Park. Activities include:  creating 5 potholes in a 1/2 acre area of Freshwater Wetland GF-25 (class II) for habitat diversity; constructing a walkway and kiosk for education; removing invasive plants and replanting with native wetland species; installing wood duck boxes; and placing cedar logs for ducks, turtles and frogs.  The project is located on the west side of Glenwood Avenue, 1/4 mile north of Route 9, Town of Queensbury.

The applicant proposes to construct a car wash and auto service center on a 4.9 acre site located on the north side of Quaker Rd. approximately .3 miles east of Bay Rd. The project will involve construction activities within the 100 foot buffer area of freshwater wetland GF-22. A  stormwater management plan has been developed that will mitigate impact to the wetlands on the property.

The applicant proposes to disturb 0.04 acre of freshwater weltand GF-28 to construct an access road from Meadowbrook Rd. to a proposed 128 unit apartment complex to be located west of Meadowbrook Rd approximately .6 mile north of Cronin Rd. Disturbance to the 100 ft. wetland buffer area will also occur during the construction of required stormwater management structures.
