Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct an access road across 190 linear feet of the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland # S-30 (class II), associated with development of the 82-lot Century Farms residential subdivision.  A walking trail is also proposed in the adjacent area.  Directional drilling will be used to install a water line under the wetland and a tributary of Kayaderosseras Creek.  The project is located on the north side of East High Street, near its intersection with East Line Road, Town of Malta.

Activities include:  creating 5 potholes in a 1/2 acre area of Freshwater Wetland GF-25 (class II) for habitat diversity; constructing a walkway and kiosk for education; removing invasive plants and replanting with native wetland species; installing wood duck boxes; and placing cedar logs for ducks, turtles and frogs.  The project is located on the west side of Glenwood Avenue, 1/4 mile north of Route 9, Town of Queensbury.
