Sullivan County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Forest Glenn Lake Triploid Grass Carp Stocking will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves Walter Maloney (owner) stocking Forest Glenn Lake (15 acres) with United States Fish and Wildlife Service certified triploid (sterile) grass carp. The proposal is to stock up to 15 sterile triploid grass carp per acre of submerged aquatic vegetation in the lake. The objective is to control excessive growth of submerged aquatic vegetation which currently limits recreational use of the lake. The project is located on Forest Glenn Lake, Sackett Lake Road, Town of Forestburgh.

Westchester County - The Village of Dobbs Ferry Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Stanley Avenue Properties Proposed Residential Development may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on May 15, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. at the Dobbs Ferry Village Hall, 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. The action involves development of approximately 7.5 acres straddling the Village of Dobbs Ferry/Village of Hastings boundary with a residential subdivision of one and two family homes totaling 38 units, construction of a new road and extension of utility service lines. The project is located on Ogden and Stanley Avenues/Dobbs Ferry, New York; no street frontage/Hastings.

Dutchess County - The Planning Board of the Town of East Fishkill, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Moore Property Development Plan. A public hearing on the Draft EIS was held on April 22, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at the East Fishkill Town Hall, 330 Route 376, Hopewell Junction, New York. The Public Comment Period has been extended until May 21, 2003. The action involves a residential development consisting of 263 single family housing units, a Hamlet Center area, Community Meetinghouse, community retail center, Village Green and central park on approximately 169 acres of a 480-acre site known as the "Moore Property" in East Fishkill, New York. The remaining 311 acres are to be preserved as open space. The project will be served with central water and sewer by transportation corporations to be created. The project is located in the northeastern portion of East Fishkill, Dutchess County, New York, east of the Taconic State Parkway and south of County Route 9/Beekman Road. Phillips Road and Benton Moore Road currently run through the project site. Fishkill Creek runs through and forms a portion of the southern boundary of the site.

Westchester County - The Town of Mount Pleasant Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Home Depot. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Monday, May 19, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Town Hall, One Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, NY. The action involves the development of "reduced scale" 113,540 square-foot Home Depot Store, including a 92,448 sq. ft. one-story warehouse-style retail building, 2,372 sq. ft. vestibule, and an attached and partially covered 18,720 sq. ft. garden center, with on-site provision of 649 parking spaces and 12 loading spaces, to be located on property on the northwest side of Old Saw Mill Road (Route 100C) and Saw Mill River Road (Route 9A), Town of Mount Pleasant.
