Region 1 - The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 130064, known as the Wantagh Cleaners Site. This site is located in the Town of Hempstead, in the County of Nassau, and is located at 920 Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh, NY 11793. The reason for deletion is:

SERP Action - Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, Suffolk County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Suffolk County Land Management Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves to use EFC funds to aid in the acquisition of properties under the New Suffolk County Drinking Water Protection Program (2000-2013) through low interest bonds meeting the criteria set forth in both the EFC Water Quality requirements and the New SCDWP Program.

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Suffolk County Water Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town Line Road Well No. 1, East Hampton will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. This project involves the installation of a 650 gallon per minute, 20" x 10" diameter, gravel packed well approximately 430 feet deep at an existing pmp station facility. This project is located on the east side of Town Line Road, 3789.07' north of Land of L.I.R.R. Wainscott, Town of East Hampton.

Suffolk County - The Suffolk County Water Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Morris Avenue Well No. 4, Farmingville will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. This project involves the installation of a 1,000 gallon per minute, 20" x 14" diameter, gravel packed well approximately 250 feet deep at an existing pump station facility. This project is located on the east side of Morris Avenue and north side of the Long Island Expressway, 1,036 feet north of Union Avenue, Farmingville, Town of Brookhaven.

Suffolk County - The Suffolk County Water Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed County Road 111 Well No. 2, Manorville will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. This project involves the installation of a 1,300 gallon per minute, 20" x 14" diameter, gravel packed well approximately 190 feet deep at an existing pump station facility. The project is located on the north side of Port Jefferson-Westhampton Road (C.R. 111), 952.12 feet east of Halsey Manor Road, Monorville, Town of Brookhaven.

Suffolk County - The Suffolk County Water Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lakeview Avenue Well No. 5. Bayport will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. This project involves the installation of a 1300 gallon per minute, 20" 14" diameter, gravel packed well approximately 340 feet deep at an existing pump station. This project is located on the east side of Lakeview Avenue, 400' north of South Country Road, Bayport, Town of Islip.

Suffolk County - The Town of Huntington Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Harborfield Estates [Subdivision] will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The proposed action is a request for the modified subdivision of a 39.28-acre parcel in order to construct 47 detached single-family homes. Two of the homes will be affordable in conformance with Section 198-13(I) of the Town Code. Dedications to the Town will include a 10.0- acre park and a 1.36-acre recharge basin for drainage/stormwater management. Access is to be provided via a new intersecting street from Pulaski Road, across from Tulane Drive. Sanitary wastewater collection and treatment is proposed via disposal to sub-surface septic systems. Public water is to be provided by the Greenlawn Water District. The project site is located at the northeast corner of Lake Road and Pulaski Road (CR 11) in Greenlawn.

Positive Declaration

Suffolk County - The Village of East Hampton Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed First Presbyterian Church may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft EIS must be prepared. The action involves the renovation and 6,216 sq. ft. extension of existing 6,495 sq. ft. Session House (total 12,711 sq. ft.) to include a new entrance, conference, dining hall to accommodate 200 people, kitchen, future classrooms and mechanical pace with provision for 32 parking spaces and potential for 20 additional parking spaces in conjunction with the existing church and single family residence. The project is located at 20 Main Street, East Hampton.

Positive Declaration and Notice of Acceptance of Draft Generic EIS

Suffolk County - The Suffolk County Water Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Five Year Water Supply Plan for the Town of Southold may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement has been accepted. This action involves adopting a comprehensive plan that will ensure a continued safe and reliable public water supply in the Town of Southold. The plan will provide for a range of options for supplying the residents of the Town of Southold with a water source that both meets water quality and quantity requirements. The generic EIS identifies a strategy that best provides a safe and reliable water supply for the Town of Southold and minimizes any associated negative environmental impacts and economic costs. This Plan is intended to guide SCWA actions in the Town for the next five years. The project site is located in the Town of Southold.

Notice of Acceptance of Final Generic EIS

Nassau County - The Village of Westbury Village Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Comprehensive Plan Village of Westbury. The action involves the adoption of the Comprehensive Plan for the Village of Westbury.
