|
The applicant purposes to
remove 120 feet of deteriorated breakwall, replacing 25 feet
with a pressure treated lumber wall and installing a beach area along the remaining 96 feet
of shoreline. The 96 foot long by 4 foot wide beach area and an underwater section that
runs 96 feet along the shore and extends 38 feet waterward of the summer water elevation
of Cuba Lake will be excavated and graded. A geotextile fabric underlayment and pea
gravel will be installed over the entire excavated and graded section to provide a beach
and pedestrian access to the water. The project site is located at the Cuba Lake Yacht
Club, 284 West Shore Road, approximately 1,250 feet southeast of the intersection of
County Road 7C and West Shore Road in the Town of Cuba.

of Porter Avenue, adjacent to the Black Rock Canal, for use by local rowing clubs to store
and launch rowing shells. The project includes approximately 370 linear feet of
bulkhead and sloped ramps along the shoreline, the seasonal installation of floating docks
and a boathouse of approximately 4300 square feet.

The proposal is for the
ratification and approval for a taking of a supply of water for use
in the existing system from the newly installed Water Supply Well # 1 having a capacity
of 200 gallons per minute to replace the existing main well, the capacity of which has
diminished and is to be abandoned. The new Well #1 is located approximately 450 Feet
northwest of NYS Routes 19 & 39 and west Of Wiscoy Creek near the Wyoming County
Fairgrounds. The Village of Pike water system currently serves approximately 370
customers through 151 service connections in the Village of Pike, Wyoming County.
Average daily demand is 25,875 gallons per day with a peak demand of up to 65,000
gallons per day when the Wyoming County Fair is in operation. WSA #10331.
