Request for Proposals

Notice is hereby given that the County of Ontario will issue a “DRAFT” Request for Proposal (R03069) for A Proposal to Lease Ontario County Solid Waste Management Facilities on April 30, 2003. Pursuant to General Municipal Law 120-w there will be a sixty (60) day comment period for all interested parties to review the “Draft Request for Proposal” and submit comments. All comments must be submitted in writing to the Ontario County Purchasing Director at 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York, 14424 by June 30, 2003.

To obtain a copy of the “Draft Request for Proposal” (R03069) contact the Ontario County Purchasing Department at 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York, 14424 (Telephone: 585-396-4442). Vendors requesting arrangements other than U.S. Mail, shall be responsible for making such arrangements and all associated costs.

At the end of the sixty (60) day period the comments will be reviewed and a “Final Request for Proposal” will be issued.

The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Parma Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Revisions to the Town’s Zoning regulations will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The proposed zoning revisions clarify administrative procedures, incorporate minor changes to requirements for signs, fences, off-street parking, definitions and miscellaneous regulations, add day-care to the list of permitted uses in commercial zones, and provide for permits for temporary uses. The project is located in the Town of Parma – entire area.

Steuben County - The City of Hornell, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hornell SW/SE Water Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves improvements to the existing water distribution system on both the SW and SE hillside neighborhoods. The project is located in the City of Hornell.

Wayne County - The Village of Sodus, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Sodus Water Supply Permit Application will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The village currently has a water supply permit to withdraw 1 million gallons per day (mdg) from Lake Ontario for portable water. The village wishes to increase the quantity they are authorized to withdraw to 2.0 mdg. existing treatment capacity is 2.0 mdg. no new construction is required. The project is located in the Village of Sodus.
