|
The project will involve
the construction of a water distribution system along State Route
12E from the Village of Brownville to the Town of Lyme corporate limits as well as
along intersecting highways and roadways. The proposed facilities will consist of a water
distribution system with approximately 20,200 feet of 10 inch ductile iron water main and
26,200 feet of 8 inch ductile iron main. The proposed distribution system will include
services to the individual homes and businesses within the district. The entire
distribution system will be supplied with water from the DANC regional water line. The
design flow is estimated to be 39,700 gallons/day. The project also includes crossing
state regulated freshwater wetland X-13.

This Department has received
a request to (modify an existing) permit and has drafted an
Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the Environmental Conservation Law, an Air State
Facility Permit, at the facility located at Oneida County Water Pollution Control Plant, 80
Leland Avenue, Utica, New York 13503.
The Department has made
a tentative determination to approve the application of the
Oneida County Water Pollution Control Plant, a municipal sewage sludge treatment
plant. The State Facility Permit allows the operation of Emission units 1-00000 and 2-00000, which
includes sewage water treatment operations, sludge incineration and
combustion sources. The facility has capped out of Title V Permitting requirements by
tracking and restricting it's emissions of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) below 100 tons per year.
The draft permit with conditions
is available for review in the Region 6 NYS DEC office
in Watertown, New York.

The applicant proposes to
construct a residence on an existing foundation in the adjacent
area of Freshwater Wetland WO-16. This is a class II, 10 acre wetland with additional
contiguous wetland acreage inside the Adirondack Park Boundary. The site also contains
an existing septic system outside the adjacent area. The house will measure 30 x 32 and
will be 88 feet from the wetland boundary at it's closest point. The project is located east
of Woodgate, Town of Forestport, Oneida County.
