Region 9 - The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 907023, known as the Marsh Valve Site. This site is located in the City of Dunkirk, in the County of Chautauqua and is located at 307 Brigham Road. The reason for deletion is:

Wyoming County - The Town of Sheldon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No. 1-2003 entitled "Regulation of Wind Energy Conversion Systems" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law to regulated wind energy systems.

Notice of Acceptance of a Final EIS

Erie County - The Town of Orchard Park, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Bierworth-Reidman Homes, Inc. The action involves the rezoning of 41.5 acres of vacant land from B-2 and R-3 to R-3 Special Exception use for the purpose of construction a 290-unit luxury apartment complex. The project is located on the east side of Orchard Park Road, south of Southwestern Boulevard in the Town of Orchard Park.
