Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The New York State Department of Transportation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed State Route 342, Project No. 7033.07 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a reconstruction of State Route 342 from U.S. Route 11 to State Route 283 in the Town of LeRay, New York. The total project length is 2.7 km (1.65 miles) and will correct pavement deficiencies as well as correct all non-standard vertical curves. Travel lanes will be reconstructed to a width of 12' and the shoulders will be substantially widened to 8' through out with the exception of the Hamlet of Calcium where 6' shoulders will be used to reduce ROW impacts. The drainage systems throughout this section of highway will be improved.

Jefferson County - The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Thousand Islands E. Rift Bridge Widening will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a bridge modification where the eastern or northbound bridge is being widened by 4.5 m (15 feet) on its eastern fascia. Along with the widening of the reinforced concrete rigid frame structure, new reinforced concrete wingwalls will also be placed. This bridge widening is being done to aid in the safe flow of truck traffic on this bridge. The project is located International RIFT Bridge, Route I-81, Town of Orleans, Jefferson County, New York.

Oneida County - the Village of Boonville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Park Avenue Sewer Replacement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves replacing an aging and structurally unsound 6" vitrified clay sanitary sewer line on Park Avenue in the Village of Boonville with an 8" SDR-3 PVC.
