Pursuant to the Environmental Conservation Law, Sections 13-0307 and 13-0319, the Department of Environmental Conservation hereby gives notice of the following:

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The South Huntington Water District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rehabilitation of Tank 11-2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves rehabilitation of ground storage tank 11-2, demolition of concrete dome and replace with an aluminum dome, repaint the inside of existing tank and misc. Sitework improvements. The project is located on Reservoir Road/South Huntington Water District.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Planned Development District (PDD) for the Kuchtuk Family Property. The action involves an approximately 17.77 acre site consisting of two tax lots located on the east side of Majors Path and north of Edge of the Woods Road in North Sea. Lot 5.1 contains 8.80 acres and is zoned CR-200, and Lot 6 contains 8.97 acres and is zoned CR-200. The site currently consists of a vacant auto salvage yard. The proposed zone change from its current CR200 to the future Mixed Use Planned Development District includes the potential for up to 66 multi-family dwelling units, plus reserving 50 percent of the site for a future elementary school, plus accessory amenities. The street addresses of these lots are 1020 and 1000 Majors Path, respectively. The project is located at the Town of Southampton.
