Onondaga County - The Town of Dewitt Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Hummell Estates Residential Subdivision. The action involves a residential development on 78 acres. The design employs reduced lot sizes "clustering" to create open space and preserve environmentally sensitive areas using provisions of Local Law #278. The project is located on the south side of NYS Route 173, between Jamesville and the Town of Onondaga and across from Clark Reservation, Town of Dewitt.

Tioga County - Tioga County, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Tioga County Office Building. The action involves the construction of a new county office complex. The preferred site is defined by Spencer Avenue, Main Street, Church Street and Temple Street in the Village of Owego. The street address is 231 Main Street, Owego, New York. The proposed office complex will consolidate County operations that presently occur at four separate facilities in and near Owego. The project would also update and modernize County office facilities. The proposed office building would consist of a four-story, 128,000 s.f. office building on 4.75 acres. It would house 268 full-time and 45 part-time employees; 305 on-site parking spaces would be provided. Additional parking is available on surrounding streets. The proposed project would require the demolition of 16 houses in the Village block in which it is located, which is located within the Owego Central Historic District, which is located on the National Register of Historic Districts.
